Charlie Bruster, RN, BSN

Owner, Clinical Director, AHA Certified Trainer

Charlie is a BSN graduate of the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC, where she became a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Her experience working as a caregiver while in nursing school laid the foundation for her company, and she prides herself on offering compassionate, personalized care to all of her clients. Charlie founded A Traveler's Hand, LLC to provide in-home care services that cater to the unique needs of each individual. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her son and family, as well as traveling to explore new cultures and experiences.

Sonya Bruster

Owner, Operations Manager

Our co-founder, Sonya, has over 20 years of experience in management and customer service. With over five years of experience in supporting an in-home care agency, she has honed her skills and passion for providing the best in-home care possible. Sonya is an educated professional, holding an AAS in Human Resource Management from Gaston College and a BS in Business Management and Leadership from Pfeiffer University, where she proudly graduated Magna Cum Laude. She's an avid traveler, reader, movie enthusiast, and foodie.

Aurizee Wilson

Training Assistant

Aurizee is Charlie's son and loves to assist with classroom training. Being a small child, he is the perfect model for live, mock demonstrations in First Aid and CPR classes that mimic real-life scenarios.

"I have taken CPR through another association online. I prefer in-classroom training. Charlie was extremely professional and knowledgeable and I feel ready to utilize the skills I learned today."
